Our Mission
As a child, I couldn't read like everyone else — I'm dyslexic, though I didn't find that out until later in life. But I never lost the joy of holding a precious book in my arms and getting lost in the real pictures (animals were always my favorite). I started Linda's Free Library — a library without walls — so children could write true stories for other children and send them around the world. And we did! Lindi Books is a non-profit, and I write true stories for the young and the young at heart, with one goal: to make a difference, one page at a time.
